With the appearance of Covid 19 early in the 2020 camping season, our camping statistics took a nosedive as rallies, trips, events, and casual camping plans were canceled and postponed!
This meant a new type of camping for us – shorter trips, closer to home, and always mindful of the Covid hot-spots. It also meant limiting sight-seeing venues to the outdoor arena, using our on-board bathroom facilities more, no restaurant dining, and greatly curtailing our browsing and shopping of downtown stores and gift shops. These were all changes we found we could easily live with, and we still managed to rack up a commendable camping season of stats! 8,798 miles 54 nights 10 trips (1 rally, 1 “casual camping gathering”, 1 campout with another couple, and 7 trips with just the two of us) Meanwhile, we are dedicated to limiting our contacts as much as possible while we anxiously await the promised Covid vaccination and a gradual return to a “normal” camping style in 2021..

We don’t go camping any more . . . we go ‘streamin’ ! The “SIlvermine and His” is our 2018 25' Airstream Serenity with Salsa interior and front twin beds., and ‘streamin’ is the name we use to describe our adventures. Stream along as we document everything from weekend trips to longer summer excursions and full-blown vacations. You know what they say: if you’re not in an Airstream – you’re just camping!
